PBSHABD provides daily news in most Indian languages in video, audio, text, photo and infographics formats.

The news can be accessed through the website: shabd.prasarbharati.org. The users can select and download the news from the site.

Any newspaper, magazine or journal with an RNI certificate can register for the service. News television and radio having a valid uplink and downlink certificate can also register for the service. Digital publishers can also access PBSHABD by producing the publisher's PAN copy.

A new user sign up link can be found on the login counter at shabd.prasarbharati.org From the link the users can fill out a short form and gain immediate access to PBSHABD. Please note, the users can choose to submit their media registration papers either during sign up or within 10 days of signing up. If the registration papers are not sent within 10 days, the access to PBSHABD would be withdrawn.

Only basic details including the title of the publication or the media, and the contact details of some of its leading people are sought in the form.

Only one login ids is allowed for each user. The ID is sharable with any journalist working with the media company concerned.
